Install guide
Three ways,one minutedone
A skill is just a folder: one SKILL.md plus templates, scripts and assets. Drop it into your agent's skills directory and the agent picks it up on its next start.
Let the agent install it
Paste the line below into your agent. It reads the guide, picks a skill, puts it in the right folder and comes back asking what inputs it needs.
Read https://skilluxe.dev/en/install.md and follow it: first work out what I need to produce, then pick one suitable skill from Skilluxe and install it into my agent. Tell me which inputs it expects.Download the ZIP
Hit “Download ZIP” on any skill page and unzip it into that agent's folder. Good if you want to see what's inside first.
mkdir -p ~/.agents/skills
unzip <slug>.zip -d ~/.agents/skills/
ls ~/.agents/skills/<slug>/SKILL.mdPick oneInstall from the terminal
If you manage skills folders from a shell, one command gives you the exact same directory structure.
# download and unzip into the skills folder
curl -L https://skilluxe.dev/api/download/<slug> \
-o /tmp/<slug>.zip
unzip -o /tmp/<slug>.zip -d ~/.agents/skills/Replace <slug> with the name from the skills list

The skills directory per agent
The most common install failure is the wrong folder — check this table first.
| Agent | Skills directory |
|---|---|
| Claude Code | ~/.claude/skills/<slug> |
| Codex | ~/.agents/skills/<slug> |
| Cursor | ~/.cursor/skills/<slug> |
| Gemini CLI | ~/.gemini/skills/<slug> |
| OpenCode | ~/.config/opencode/skills/<slug> |
| Antigravity | ~/.agents/skills/<slug> |
Troubleshooting
Still not working?
The skills folder doesn't exist — is that a problem?
Just create it: mkdir -p ~/.agents/skills. The agent scans that folder at start; if it isn't there, make it. Your existing config isn't affected.
Installed it, but the agent ignores it?
Check that <slug>/SKILL.md is in the folder and that the frontmatter name matches the folder name, then restart the session. Most agents only read the skills folder once, at session start.
Can I install several skills at once?
Yes, they don't conflict. If two skills produce the same kind of thing (two landing page templates, say), install only the one you need now — the agent picks more decisively.
What's in the ZIP?
SKILL.md, the templates and visual spec under references, the scripts under scripts, and any image assets. The folder is the skill; there is no extra install step.
Does it need network access or an API key?
Installing needs nothing. A few skills call an external model when producing images or video — those need your own key (FAL and the like), billed per use by the provider, and the skill page says so up front.
